Skate School 101
Skaters are encouraged to sign up and skate in both sections of Skate School if interested in joining Emerald City Roller Derby.
Skate School 101: 4 week introduction to roller skating. We will learn the basics skating skills, safety, and gear. This is a non contact session of Skate School.
Skate School 201: 4 week introduction to roller derby. Learning the fundamentals of safe derby gameplay under the WFTDA ruleset. Here will be an introduction to how to make and receive contact with other skaters. Must pass Skate School 101 to participate in Skate School 201. Mouth guard required for this session.
